Bums in Bedclothes: Lansing Bureaucrats Refuse to Come to Work

With the Capitol empty, we hold a hearing on public waste

Lansing is a great place to work… because nobody has to work there.

Covid telecommute rules are still in place for Michigan’s 50,000 state employees.

They’re mostly all at home right now, still in their jammies, cooking up ways to waste more of our money.

Examples? Why are our representatives scheming to give Detroit billionaire Dan Gilbert another billion dollars for an empty building, when the state of Michigan is spending a billion dollars on empty offices?

Then there’s the pending legislation to give driver’s licenses to illegal aliens, while the rest of us face increased driver’s license fees.

Who comes up with this crap?

I’m back in the Capitol with my own special committee on public waste.
