Who Are the Top High School Baseball Prospects in Michigan?
Three strikeout artists and two sluggers lead the field
Cole Duhaime — Brother Rice LHP (Virginia Commit)
Struck out 16 batters against DLS last season, already has a 10k game in a win against rival Catholic Central. With a fastball that tops out at 88mph, this kid is going to be the real deal for the Warriors this season.
Hudson Brzustewicz — Orchard Lake St. Mary’s INF (Notre Dame Commit)
In his first few games of CHSL action, the Notre Dame commit went 7-13 at the plate, including a walk-off homerun to cap off a 3-3 day. A recent powerhouse in Michigan baseball, OLSM will need a big year out of Brzustewicz to get back to Michigan State come June.
Broder Katke — Brother Rice C (Vanderbilt Commit)
The star of the 2027 class committed to Vanderbilt this off-season, and is already off and rolling, putting up big numbers against Byron Center last week.
Jack Manzella — Fraser RHP (MSU Commit)
Before choosing to stay in Michigan last summer, Manzella finished his junior campaign tossing two no-hitters and a grand total of 65 strikeouts. Fraser will need a big season out of Manzella in order to make it past game one of Districts this season.
Ethan Armstrong — Garden City RHP (Michigan Commit)
Sub-1 career ERA, committed to the Maize and Blue as a sophomore, and touches low 90s regularly with his fastball. Need I say more?
