Can’t Wait for The Game? Start Shooting Ohio Buckeyes Now
Michigan Enjoyer’s new arcade game lets you defend the state one falling nut at a time
Michigan takes on Ohio State in Columbus on Nov. 28. But until then, Michigan Enjoyer’s new arcade game lets you fight for our state one falling nut at a time.
The Wolverines will defend our honor on the field. But until then, you can get your licks in from your phone.
Buckeye Hunter is the newest game from Michigan Enjoyer. It’s a retro arcade shooter set in a Michigan autumn of red maples, orange leaves, and one very determined hunter in blaze orange. Buckeyes are falling from the sky, and it’s your job to shoot them down before they touch Michigan soil.
Let five reach the ground and Ohio wins.
How to play
Tap to shoot (it’s much easier on your phone). The buckeyes fall faster with each wave. But watch your aim: a doe and an eagle will wander into the line of fire, and hitting either one will cost you. A true Michigan hunter knows the difference between a deer and a nut from Columbus.
Rivalry week starts early
Buckeye Hunter keeps a daily leaderboard that resets at midnight, plus an all-time board for the state’s most dangerous marksmen. Your best score is the one that counts.
Between now and kickoff, every day is a new chance to top the board. Play it on your lunch break, in the deer blind, or in line at the Meijer checkout.
Crushed Buckeye Hunter? Prove you know the state with Pin the Mitten, our daily geography game.
